For some time, BBVA Asset Management has been engaged in a far-reaching review of the role the asset manager should play in the virtual world. We were aware of the potential of social networks, but had not decided upon the formula for successfully venturing into a world that is changing at a dizzying pace. One thing was clear: the goal was to increase BBVA AM’s transparency and forge closer links with customers and investors.
To reach this goal, Unience offered us an extraordinary asset: a community of investors who share their market information and experiences. To this end, we have launched an online venue which we hope will become a two-way communication channel, through which BBVA AM can offer interesting content to the investor community while investors offer their feedback.
Through the BBVA AM in Unience, you will find information on the asset manager’s business, products, investment approach and analysis of current events in terms of their impact on the fund management industry.
We have christened the team charged with launching this project the BBVA Asset Management Community Team, whose members include Marta Ciriza, Social Media Manager; José Luis Carrillo, Community Manager and Miguel Rodríguez, Content Manager.
